Who is responsible
Estudio Sánchez Salas y Asociados S.R.L., CUIT 33-70962893-9, Belgrano 1216, Neuquén City (postcode Q8300), Argentina. For anything about personal data: [email protected].
This policy covers this site, the job portal ↗ and everything we do in our Human Resources, Accounting and Legal areas. It applies to site visitors, companies that contact or hire us, job seekers, and the people a candidate names as references.
What data we handle
If you visit the site or write to us through a form:
- What you write: name, company, email, phone, the role or topic and your message. Only the fields you choose to fill in.
- Technical data about the submission: the date, the page you wrote from and your IP address, which we use to stop automated submissions (spam).
- Browsing data collected through cookies (see “Cookies and measurement”).
If you are looking for work or take part in a recruitment process:
- Identity and contact details: name, national ID (DNI), date of birth, sex, address, phone, email and photo.
- Background: CV, education, experience, skills, salary expectations and references.
- What comes out of the selection process: interview notes and ratings, psychometric assessment results and the report we give the hiring company.
- What comes out of background checks (see below).
- Data we infer: for example, sex from your first name when you have not stated it, or how complete your profile is.
If you are a client: the contact details of the people at your company and the information you give us to provide the service. In the Accounting and Legal areas, that information and those documents are covered by professional secrecy.
We do not ask for sensitive data (racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or moral beliefs, trade union membership, health or sex life), and no one is required to provide it.
Where it comes from
- From you: when you fill in a form, sign up on the portal, apply for a role, send us your CV, message us on WhatsApp or call us.
- From LinkedIn and Google: if you sign up with those accounts, we fill in your profile with the public data from your profile and your photo.
- From job boards and professional networks: if you posted your CV on Bumeran, Computrabajo or Zonajobs, or have a public LinkedIn profile, we may add that data to our database to offer you openings, even if you have not signed up on our portal. If you do not want to be included, write to us and we will remove you.
- From client companies and your references, when you take part in a recruitment process.
- From public sources and report providers, to run background checks.
What we use it for
- Answering enquiries and following them up.
- Recruitment: finding candidates, assessing them, letting them know about openings that may interest them and presenting them to the hiring company.
- Providing the accounting, tax, employment and legal services we are hired for, and meeting our legal obligations.
- Understanding how the site and the portal are used, improving them and measuring which of the firm’s ads work.
- Showing the firm’s ads to people who have already visited the site.
- Producing statistics from aggregated data that does not identify anyone.
We do not sell your data. In recruitment we do not discriminate on grounds of origin, religion, political opinion, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability or any other ground prohibited by law.
Background checks
In recruitment processes we may verify candidates’ information with:
- Commercial report providers, which report identity, employment history and credit standing (for example, as recorded by the Central Bank).
- Public records, including court rulings published by the judiciary.
- The employment references you give us.
The result is used only for that recruitment process. If anything we find is inaccurate, you can ask us to correct it or to disregard it.
Automated tools and artificial intelligence
We use artificial intelligence tools to read and sort CVs, find candidates who match a role and draft texts. Selection decisions are made by people at the firm, not by an automated tool.
Who we share it with
- With the company that is hiring: if you are shortlisted, we show them your profile, your CV, your photo and, where relevant, the psychometric report. We do this through a private link, without giving them your ID number or phone.
- With the providers that serve us, who may only use the data for that purpose: hosting for the site and the portal, and security (Cloudflare), email (Amazon Web Services), and measurement and advertising (Google, Meta and LinkedIn).
- With judicial or administrative authorities, when the law requires it.
Transfers outside Argentina
Several of those providers store or process data in the United States or other countries that may not offer a level of protection equivalent to Argentina’s. By signing up on the portal, sending us your CV or writing to us through a form, you consent to that transfer. Each provider handles the data under its own policy:
How long we keep it
- Candidate CVs and profiles: until you ask us to delete them or request deletion of your account from the portal (“My profile → Delete my account”).
- Site enquiries: for as long as the relationship lasts and up to two years after the last contact.
- Client data: as long as accounting, tax, employment and professional rules require.
- Browsing data: for the period each platform sets.
Cookies and measurement
- Technical: the ones the portal needs to work, such as the one that keeps you signed in. Without them you cannot log in.
- Measurement and advertising: Google (Analytics and Ads), Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and LinkedIn on this site. They record which pages you visit, which ad or site you came from, and whether you tapped WhatsApp or the phone number or sent an enquiry. We do not send Google, Meta or LinkedIn what you write in the forms.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser, install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on ↗ or adjust your ad preferences at Google ↗, Meta ↗ and LinkedIn ↗. The site works the same either way. The site does not respond to the browser’s “Do Not Track” signal.
How we protect it
We use encrypted connections, access with username and password, and private links to share candidates, and only staff who need the data can access it, under a duty of confidentiality. No system is invulnerable: if an incident affects your data, we act as the law requires.
What you give us
You are responsible for the data you upload being true, accurate and up to date. If you give us someone else’s data, such as an employment reference, you must have their permission. Posting an opening is not a job offer, and applying does not guarantee being hired.
Minors
The portal is for people aged 18 and over. If we learn that a minor has uploaded their data without the authorisation of their parents or guardians, we delete it.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, its rectification, update or deletion, or ask us to stop using it to offer you openings or send you communications. You can also withdraw your consent at any time. Write to [email protected] or submit a letter at Belgrano 1216, Neuquén City, with a copy of your ID (or the power of attorney, if you ask on someone else’s behalf). We reply within the legal deadlines: ten calendar days for access and five business days for rectification, update or deletion.
We may have to keep some data even if you ask us to delete it, if a law requires it or if it is needed for an ongoing claim.
The data subject has the right to access their personal data free of charge at intervals of no less than six months, unless a legitimate interest is shown, as provided in article 14, paragraph 3 of Law 25,326. The Agency for Access to Public Information (Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública), as the supervisory authority under Law 25,326, is empowered to handle complaints and claims from anyone whose rights are affected by a breach of the personal data protection rules.
Changes and governing law
If we change anything, we will publish it on this page with a new update date. This policy is governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic, and any dispute will be settled before the ordinary courts of Neuquén City.
